It worked well, but its not $30 for the features listed here its $120.

Pros: To be fair I really liked how this product worked during the trial. I had one problem when setting up either the virtual folders or the start in folder that was causing a crash. Probably because I put in the directory in the wrong format or something. As soon as I removed this it was working great. It was simple to use and I really liked the features of the trial version.

Cons: Here are my problems. For the features listed the price is not accurately listed on download.com. It says it offers secure SSL in the description. This is only true of the $120 version on their site. All features worked for the trial I downloaded from here. They even redirect users on their site to download.com from here so the description and pricing should be accurate. However when I bought the $30 version and registered it, the SSL went away. Also please be aware that for $30 you can only use this on a personal website also. Not really a problem for me but if you are looking at the above price its not mentioned that this is for a personal copy. So really if you are a personal user you may want to try a free alternative which will give you the same features that are activated in this version.

There is the builtin ftp server that comes with xp pro (you must install it from the windows install disk manually with IIS). There is also cerberus and ftpshell which are secure and free for personal users.

Bottom Line: Its a nice ftp server but if the price had been listed at $120 which it really is for most features and uses you would need to pay for this ftp server, I never would have even tried it in the first place. If you don't mind the $120 price then it was the best of what I tested.
