cloning,
autotext,
wordcount character count statistics,
hexadecimal viewer,
readonly mode for any file,
upto ten autotext entries,
bookmarking,
All that in a notepad replacement. best of all, you can unload it by simply pressing the Esc key

Pros: * full PHP functions list ordered in a neat tree view in the side bar
* store your own code snippets, again organized as a nice tree
* special characters and formatted date time
* syntax highlighting for PHP/VB/Java/C#
and *SQL* highlghting for **each database**(!!) like MySQL/ Ingres/ Oracle/ MSSQL.
* buttons for every HTML and PHP tag so you dont have to fight to remember syntax.
* internal preview if web server is set up
* Configurable tools - which means, in effect you can make it an IDE if you use batch files properly
* integrated PHP F1 help - shows the page from the manual directly!
* Still some more which I have not yet looked.

Pros: loads fast;
clean customizable interface;
project and file system panels;
templates;
keyboard macros which can be customized and saved; If you want the same keystroke to do different things, you can make different customized macros files and load the file which has the macro you want;

Tools: Now this one feature nearly makes it an IDE; Short of debugging, it has everything configurable; So to compile your PHP or Java programs, you just have to set up a tool by passing the current file name to the php interpreter or java compiler; You can also make a batch file so that at the press of a button, not only is your code compiled but your browser can be refreshed as well, if you have a web server running; In short, just debugging is not there as yet; Who knows, a quick hack by the author might enable that as well;

Pros: *Far* too many features to list.
It has a plugin oriented architecture, so you can write your own plugin as well.
Superb plugins for mass operations on large text files, like adding quotes to the start and end of each line, adding or removing scripting tags, macro recording and replaying, colored WYSIWYG printing of code to paper, multiple files, multiple views, cloning, *code-folding*, customizable auto-complete listing, custom language definition (keywords,syntax,coloring) .......... too much to write on one page.
Use whatever editor you like, but do have a look at this one.
