Pros: lovely font and icons that just make sense
Cons: there is a tiny image problem with a bit of the blue icon from messages on the today screen being carried over into apps. it's barely noticable and i am picky. overall i am super pleased with the look of my pearl.

Pros: loads up fast for sampling and editing new downloads. has a lot of cool features which make it attractive for someone just starting out with a music collection.
Cons: not as easy to organize LARGE (100gb) music libraries. also, no mp4 playback is a show stopper.
