Pros: One of the best virus scanners out there coupled with automatic daily updates and realtime protection makes this program a terrific choice for anyone.
Cons: While avira's virus scanner is superior to avg's, the user interface isn't nearly as good.

Pros: Faster, leaner, and more user friendly than adobe, this free PDF reader is absolutely awesome. I deleted adobe ages ago and switched completely over to Foxit. I've been happily using it for months and haven't found any negatives yet.

Pros: Wow, I'm impressed. This thing makes my desktop look awesome. First time I've seen Microsoft do something great in awhile.

Pros: Straightforward, simple interface makes controlling startup programs a piece of cake. Uncheck the ticked box and the program will no longer start up when the computer does.
Cons: The only downside to this small but useful program is that sometimes it's hard to tell if a startup entry is critical or not.

Pros: Ultra fast, lightweight, speedy startup, tabs for open pdf documents, you name it. It's not what is to like but the lack of what isn't to like. Everyone should throw adobe reader out the window and use this program.
