Slows down my pic and freezes it

Pros: This thing actually uses fingerprinting technology and uploads the first few seconds of each song to its database, and checks it to see if its the right name
Cons: This does what it says for free.

Version: 4.7.1001strong protection for free and updates mind their own business
Pros: it updates without putting a OK button on the screen all the time like AVG does. It minds it's own business, and u can customize it, and run bootscans....Does MANY more things avg does not.

AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition
Version: 7.5.467The update has major flaws
Pros: Light on system resources, and it is fairly fast at scanning.
Cons: When ever it updates, you have to press OK in the middle of the screen, or wait for it to disappear after 30 seconds. And it only updates if its SCHEDULED at a certain time. Otherwise it won't update. You have to MANUALLY update the updates you missed.
And only detects a virus IF you try opening the file, or if you scan for viruses.

Version: 7.5.4Doesn't slow your computer, but has WEAK virus detection..AVG is for OLD Pc's!
Pros: Doesn't slow your computer or laptop.
And it is very simple to run. This program is for out dated PCS...Fast pcs, go with AVAST FREE EDITION..IT DETECTS MUCH MORE VIRUSES!
Cons: Has weak detection, I ask WHY is this program the most downloaded free Antivirus? When AVAST has a better virus detection rate?..If you have a NEW PC, that is fast, go with AVAST....if it's a SLOW pic....then go with AVG
