Great Firewall

Pros: I really like this firewall a lot.

It's easy to find your way around this program, and everything is quite straightforward.

It's best feature (in my opinion) is that it asks you for your confirmation for every single program that accesses the internet.

And it's free - who doesn't like freebies?

Good program

Pros: I'm a beginner here, so I didn't really know how to use this program at first. But the website has a user guide on it.

Or, if you can't be bothered to read it, it can automatically configure the settings for you (but you have to give them your maximum bandwidth speed - CNET has a bandwidth checker).

Webpages load noticably faster now.

Cons: Not beginner-friendly.

Looks like a hoax.

Cons: Hmmm...I haven't downloaded it, but I don't think it works. The author claims to have the number one spot on Google and Alexa. The publisher's website, however, has a pagerank of 0 (a pagerank determnines your page ranking on the Google search results). And it promotes satelites. Sheesh.

The file's smaller than 1mb. Most softwares that claim to boost your Google/Yahoo ranking are a few mb at the least.

I advice you not to download it. Looks to suspicious. The again, I'm only a novice computer user, so I might be wrong.
