IT WORKED - I CAN'T BELIEVE IT, IT WORKED!

Pros: I spent several hours trying programs to convert PDF to Word. Nitro was awful. So far, everything is converting perfectly with this one!

I used PDF Splitter and Merger 3.0 to split it into 3 page documents, then I used DeskUNPDF to convert 50 of the split files at a time. Flawless result! I am tempted to actually shell out the 60 clams to buy it free an legal - then I don't have to go thru all the splitting then rejoing rigamaroe- and I like to support companies that make prgrams that actually work.

TERRIBLE Job of converting to Word document

Cons: MS Word output was completely jacked up, even regular text.

PDF Split & Merge

It worked

Pros: It was very simple and fast.

Cons: Comes up with errors when launched in Vista, BUT IT WORKS! For some reason, pages with tables are rotated 90 degrees when displayed in Acrobat, but aside from that, no complaints.

Worked the best of all of them

Pros: I tried seveal other shareware un-deletes - this one did way better. The other ones only recovered a couple hundred files on my compact flash card, this one recovered over 1000. It has a 64KB limit on the free version. I did something I've only done once before - I acutally shelled out the 45 bucks for the full version.
