Pros: Seems to do almost anything that Photoshop can do, but the interface is very different from anything else I've used, so it's a long learning curve. Gimpshop makes it a little more friendly.
Cons: Takes a while to learn. More a warning than something I don't like.

Pros: dynamics processor is the best I've tested. easy to use, supports multiple playlists, auto DJ feature lets you set up a playlist and let it play as long as you like.
Cons: Not really a problem, it's not exactly free. Free version inserts an announcement and can't be disabled. Fairly unobtrusive, if you want it gone, it'll cost you $30. More features for higher prices. Great program at that price.

Pros: I use it for live recording since it will break at pauses. Creates a new file, so if something goes wrong, you only lose from the crash on. Previous stuff is safe.
Cons: Uses silence between tracks to break into different files. If you set sensitivity high enough that it doesn't cut off end fade-outs, it retriggers on noise and doesn't make new tracks.

Pros: I use this exclusively for picture viewing. It also plays most video files and has some editing capability. A lot of features, a small footprint and it's free.
Cons: I've had a few instances of getting hung up on video files, probably corrupt, but you can't exit the program without ctrl-alt-del.

Pros: Tabbed browsing works great. Seems to load fast and any website that works with IE also seems to work with this.
