Pros: I have at least 6 different registry cleaners + others included in various software packages.
This is one of the best. The "speed up system" is useful - I have noticed very good improvement with my PC's speed.
WinASO has a definite edge over most others. Highly recommended...

Pros: To be perfectly frank there are a number of Antivirus solutions that are at least as good and in some peoples views better tahn AVG including Esset Nod 32, Avast and Avira to name but a few...
Cons: 1.) I find that it is heavy on resources on my computer compared to version 7 which I liked very much.
2.) I have and had a few compatability issues with version 8 and different programs on my computer which are currently not resolved. I found version 7 to be more stable.
3.) I have found that AVG support is a lot slower to respond to emails re my problems then they were in the past. For that reason I won't be renewing my contract when it expires later this year.

Pros: Very efficient and effective software with excellent detection rates. I have used many antivirus products over the years. I feel that this one is the best!...
Cons: 1.) I would like to see integration with Outlook Express...
2.) Scans are a little slow but to be honest I would sacrifice speed anytime for an accurate scan.

Pros: 1.) I purchased this product at a greatly reduced price to what it was originally sold at. I find it now to be of excellent value.
2.) It is not memory intensive. This is important to me as my computer is a rather dated Pentium 3 800 with Windows'98SE.
3.) My 5 star rating is based on the fact that the program does what I need it to do at a low price with little memory usage. Open Office 2.01 may well be an alternative for those looking for a more sophisticated program...
Cons: Could be more user friendly for beginners.

Cons: 1.) I had problems uninstalling this program...
2.) I vastly prefered the earlier versions of this software.
