CCleaner

Version: 1.36.430

Great Cleaner. Been using for years.

Pros: It's updated regularly.

Never had it delete anything it shouldn't have.

Easy to use and very configurable. You can control what it's going to delete. You can tell it not to delete certain cookies if you want. If you wanted you could look at every registry item it's going to delete and tell it not to.

Can overwrite deleted data.(secure delete)

Also cleans other programs like Quicktime, Win media player, Nero, eMule, Kazaa, Firefox, Opera, etc.

Plenty of users so it has a good forum support.

The program is very fast.

Totally free. Not even a paid version if you wanted it.

Cons: Nothing really bugs me. I try other reg and history cleaners from time to time and I still like this one the best.

Clipboard Recorder

Version: 4.0.3

***** Hum

Pros: It works and does what it says it will do.

Cons: To me it is not intuitive. For such a simple program I always seemed unsure of how to work it.

DIManager

Version: 6.5.1.192

I think this program is fantastic.

Pros: It seems to me that my Desktop Icon placement gets messed up quite often. (changing monitor resolutions, trying out new programs, and sometimes for no reason at all) DIManager will put the icons right back where you had them. It doesn't confuse DIManager if you have added or deleted icons either. This program is small and simple and even though it will add itself to your tray (by the clock) you can just exit it untill you need to restore your icon placement again.

Cons: It may be too simple for some.

You should try "Iconoid" as well. It's also free and it has five or six other tricks that it will do. I never used any of "Iconoid's" other gadgets and personally prefer the simplicity of DIManager.
