Oh, My, Lord!

Pros: I run an hp I bought used two years ago...P4 3.06gb, 160gb, 1gb ram, ran Windows Window washer, and use the washer nightly...it took 28 minutes to run a scan of my harddrive, and found over 60,000 files that have been deleted, told me when it was deleted, and if the file was overwritten, poor, medium, or good quality.....it was scary. Now I need to find a better eraser to protect myself and my clients.

Cons: The price is a bit high, but might be worth it. A more detailed analysis of what the files are would greatly improve the user-friendliness of the product.

Torrent Search

It works

Pros: small simple quick searches of torrent files usable on many torrent download programs. Tried it with bitcomet, azureus, and bitlord. no problems. no spyware or anything malevolent.

Cons: next to no options in the program. whatever you search for, if you specify a movie, music, applications and games may be in the results. also if there is more than one page in the results, you are lucky for the next page to appear when clicked

File Splitter

good stuff, worth downloading

Pros: downloaded it, split a large file in half, spliced it together-no problems...split it into 100mb chunks (original 756mb), spliced it together-no problems. Burned the chunks to 2 cds, rebooted, then copied the chunks to a blank folder, spliced them-no problems. Few options, more are not actually needed, does what it needs to. That's all I ask. No adware, spyware, or anything.

Cons: Unable to put the program into a menu when downloading it. Save it to a file, and run it when you need to, but dont bother looking for it in your programs drop-down, it isnt there. As I said, save it to file or floppy, double-click to use it. Simple enough solution to the only problem I could find.

Pros: Great way to use up necessary hard drive space since there is nothing else this thing does

Cons: doesnt speed up squat, just takes up space, kinda like the old cat-lady next door

got rid of stuff adaware, spybot, spykiller couldnt remove. Love it

Pros: its fast, easy and thorough. simple to use. have tried several programs to remove btgrab and such, this one had no problems

Cons: deleted my home page, easily redone. dont like the fact its only a 15 day trial.
