Pros: First, it's free. It won't cost you a penny. Second, it's EXTREMELY easy to use, and it's feature-packed. There are great tutorials to get you started, but you probably won't even need those. Lots of pre-loaded textures to choose from. Very intuitive. Allows you to put your model in Google Earth!
Cons: Nothing, except that it seemed that when bringing in terrain from Google Earth to build your model on, some bugs surfaced.

Pros: I'm skeptical about anything that AOL makes. I ask myself "Is this going to be worth downloading?" Here, the answer was a definite yes! Who knew AOL could make such a great tool. It can scan your PC, but it also can scan any PC on your network! And it scans way faster then you could expect! It's super-fast! It recognized all of my software and security status with surprising accuracy. This is just a great security tool!
Cons: I only have two quibbles: The links inside the program only open in IE, and there's no button in the taskbar to maximize it and minimize it easily. (Except for a tiny icon.)

Pros: Sidebar is great, with my news and RSS feeds popping up on my screen every few minutes!
The gadgets are nice too, but there could be more of them.
YOU CAN DISABLE THE COMPUTER SHARING FEATURE!
The double-Ctrl feature is very handy at times.
Cons: Nothing really, although I don't use the actual desktop feature at all really, so if you aren't going to use the sidebar or the gadgets, it's pretty much worthless.

Pros: Even if you aren't looking for a desktop search program, this program is still great. The sidebar is awesome, and now with the option to move panels out of the sidebar, it is feeling a lot more open. The fact that you can search on multiple computers, share panels, and create your own is great.
Cons: Because searching on multiple computers requires you to upload your index to the Google servers, there is an obvious security risk here.
Luckily, however, you can turn the feature off (which I recommend - for now.)

Pros: I can't express my feelings about this program. It's just amazing. You MUST download it. At first, I thought it would be too hard for me to do all of the scripting stuff, but TRUST ME. IT'S EASY! Just read the tutorial in the help file, and off you go! This program can do almost ANYTHING!
Cons: Really no cons at all - except that it may be a TINY BIT hard for begginers.
