The paragon of excellence of BT clients.
Pros: Very intelligent behaviour for both downloading and seeding. Can get full bandwidth in either direction and is most evenly distributed I seen for any client. Follows BT protocols precisely. Very powerful options including advanced ones to help techies get the most out of this client and a custom IP filter. Very nice and sleek GUI. Excellent hash checking and intelligent banning of IPs that send bad data. Built in tracker if you ever want to run a small one from home. Support for everything imaginable including peer caches and UDP trackers. Open source with endless plugins including stuffer to ban unfair clients like Bitcomet, Safepeer to ban bad IP ranges, Firefrog for a pseudo firefox interface and lots more. Resource usage not bad for a Java app. On top of it all, it'll run on any platform with Java installed.
Cons: May not be easiest for newbies to use due to all the options to manage. Must have a good running Java environment for this to work well. A few buggy plugins out there but are easy to remove without reinstalling the app.
