Pros: + Free
+ Simple examples
+ If you've got programming skills, this example programs can be all that you need to write your own java-code.
Cons: - May be used in own programs, but may not be published (but the examples are so simple, that the copyright is a little over the top).
- Learning Java via an on-line course (google 'learn java online') is probably easier still...

Pros: + free !
+ works great
+ even has music if you want
+ 3 levels
+ high scores
(+ installed on my HP iPAQ Pocket PC h1915.)
Cons: - you first have to install Microsoft's .NET Compact Framework, but that's a free download (version 1.0 SP3 worked) and easy to install.

Pros: + Relatively Cheap
+ Loads CCF files (remote control files containing the graphical layout and the codes for a specific remote, ready to go)
+ Learns codes (from another remote, but I haven't used that function)
+ Works (I used it with a HP iPAQ Pocket PC, the h1915 and a CCF-file)
+ Sends macros
Cons: (-) you can use the demo version only 15 times.
(-) nag-screen every 3 minutes in demo version.
(-) cannot replace hardware, so it could be that your PDA only functions as a remote when it's very close to your equipment...

Pros: + Free !! (how is this possible?)
+ Strong program.
+ Easy installed (on HP iPaq h1915 in my case, installs in games-directory)
+ Great interface (shows possible moves)
Cons: - It could use some more levels.
Not for people who only like to win.

Pros: + free
+ good interface (the so-called 'avast! Simple User interface' is a big improvement)
Cons: + false positives (the software reports files that doesn't contain viruses)
+ stops on detection
