Absolutely Awesome

Pros: This thing rocks! It is very responsive, has a tone position indicator at the bottom as well as seeing the needle move on the screen. Has over a dozen preset open tunings for slide players. Does Bass and 12-string as well. Can change the color of everything to suite your fancy.

Most importantly, it really works.

Cons: I have yet to find any drawbacks to this program.

Too Much Trouble

I am not new to system management. I have used the simple RegClean ever since I found in the back files of Win95. I understand that if you don't keep a clean system and then try to install a heay duty reg cleaner like Advanced System Opti.. it will crash your system. What people don't understand is that by the time you think you need one of these programs its to late! Its time to fdisk don't even bother running a reg cleaner program. Anyhoo... I like to keep my system in top condition. I have been using Windows Ultra Cleaner for a long time, but wanted something stronger. I have had great success with a program called Registry First Aid, outstanding product. Well, I was thinking there could be something even better. Well I came across this guy Advanced System Optimizer, So I gave it a try. Very nice interface, well laid out, lots of help screens, which is very important with this type of product, and a whole lotta features. I would liked to have seen a one button does all configuration since there is soooo many options and features. Well I let it rip. It did just fine for a day or two. Then strange things began to happen. I noticed it took over my entire system. I don't like that. Things started to come up missing. I no longer could get my email. Then no internet. No network pinters. Slowly no windows. This happened over a three day period. I wound up pulling out my tape backup and getting back to normal. I would say the only feature I could really use was the reg defragger. Then I would have to uninstall ASAP after running it. Anything else was just too many steps to get one thing accomplished.
