wins hands down on speed

Pros: caching - marvellous speed- just fantastic - and very stable - ie keeps crashing - mf does not - a whole load of excellent plugins and a vibrant developer community coming up with "unofficial" toolbars for yahoo and google - i mean you're missing a lot of goodies and speed if you're not using firefox

Cons: nothing much really, just dont use it on an old pentium I machine or if you have soemthing like 64MB - its not made for that generation

excellent replacement for IE tabbed browsing

Pros: based on IE engine, stable, has loads of features, tabbed browsing, if only the instability of IE is troubling you, this is the best.

Cons: none really

Professional, EXTREMELY STABLE, light editor with loads of high quality features

Pros: Anybody who edits anything worthwhile in text form must have a look at this one.

Very light(around 1MB or less), has FTP, a web browser, AUTOCOMPLETE(you can make your own autocomplete files easily), plus many standard ones (for all programming languages) at editplus.com. Specifically, good html collection, but not WYSIWYG.

Everything you can and cannot think of for an editor to have, short of an ide.

Cons: its not free
