The Best Browser Out There
Mozilla Firefox is an example that should be followed by other browsers. Until recently, if you wanted a popup blocker in IE, you had to install a toolbar from some search engine or install third-party software. Want to block ads or images from one particular site? Sorry. You can't do that. And don't even think about trying to customize the look of IE. To do that you have to download an entire Windows XP theme, and only an administrator can install those. If you've got multiple people sharing the same account on a computer, you have to share the same features. Firefox changes all of that. It's got a built-in popup blocker that works better than the one in IE and is easily customizable. You can set up multiple profiles on the same Windows account, allowing each person using that account to customize the browser the way they want. Want to add some other features? No problem. This is also stored in your profile folder, so even a regular "limited" user can install their own themes and extensions and customize Firefox the way they want it. Firefox also complies with the latest web standards. You can even subscribe to RSS/XML feeds in Firefox ("Live bookmarks"). A handy little bookmark toolbar feature puts your favorite sites right at your fingertips for one-click access. Tabbed browsing saves space and confusion by allowing you to open multiple sites in the same window (if you get tired of trying to switch between multiple IE windows, you'll love this feature). Firefox was designed with the user in mind. Once you start using Firefox, you'll never want to go back to IE. One of the best parts about Firefox is that it's open-source, meaning you can modify the code and create your own features, and then post them on the internet for others to use without worrying about corporate lawyers knocking on your door. Firefox is the best browser out there.
