Version: 7.1Necessary protection and it's free
Pros: ZoneAlarm for Windows XP is an excellent firewall. Possible intrusion alerts are well presented. It has prevented hundreds of intrusions since I started using it.

Version: 7.2tProvides needed information I need to manage my home PCs
Pros: I run Belarc Advisor on all of my home computers. It provides information on system components, installed programs, the MAC address, etc.
Cons: I gave it 5 stars but would like to see an enhancement that shows more information about the motherboard and installed drivers.

Pros: CCleaner has a myriad of choices for removing unwanted files, cookies, browsing history, etc.,from the computer. In combination with anti-virus, anti-spam, registry defrag, file shredding, and firewall software, it helps keep my PC squeaky clean.

Foxit PDF Reader
Version: 2.2 build 2129The perfect replacement for Adobe Reader
Pros: Adobe Reader was slow and inefficient. Foxit is fast, reliable, and has enhanced features. I removed Adobe from my computer after installing and testing Foxit. I have found no drawbacks to this product.
