An effective enough anti-virus program

Cons: Slows your computer down to a crawl while scanning.

Some updates require a PC shutdown and start-up WITHOUT giving you the option of doing it later. Absolutely without merit.

In the future I'll go to another AV vendor.

CAUTION XP users!

Pros: none

Cons: Many XP users have reported that installing IE 7 has resulted in a warning such as "iertutil.exe missing" and loss of any use of explorer. Attempting to reinstall IE 6 is futile. If you use google you'll see it's been a common problem. MS is aware of this and STILL has not given a fix for it.

It's just unacceptable that this is happening, I've migrated to Firefox only because my IE is now inoperable and I've got to find a fix for this. Inexcusable, as usual MS does nothing to solve the problem it's created.
