A very stable, default, and stylish asset to OS X.

Pros: - Is usually very stable and has live grow action.

- With professional has several novice and useful editing tools without the major DV editing programs.

- Live action with your iSight; Record and Play.

- Supports several forms of media and with professional it can export in several medias as well.

- Very stylish in it's default skin.

- Mustn't forget Full Screen view with Pro.. very handy for those nice displays.

Cons: - Does not support all windows friendly movie codecs.

- In few cases it crashes.

- Exporting large movies into different formats is VERY slow.

- Most nice features such as editing are only unlocked with the purchase of Quicktime Pro.

Good, but not.

It's an average good player. I tried to use it to merge movie files together, although there's a huge bug in that. Doesn't match the audio with the video correctly. If you're just downloading this as a player, I say go right ahead. Although be warned if you're just downloading this as a video merger!

Booooo!

iChat I find is much better and sutible for Mac OS X, thank you very much. As well Proteus is another good IM chat client instead of msn. Not to be hurtful.
