Pros: Out of 3 or 4 other previously "tried" gen programs, this is the first one that takes the guess-work out of putting source information in the proper order, through their Source Wizard.
The rest of the program has run well for me and I like the layout.
Cons: A few more "source types" that a person can add, within the Source Wizard (i.e. death record).

Pros: Assigning a different color to each class I took, helped me recognize what assignment was coming due, at a glance. When using my laptop in class, it was handy to click on StudyMinder Lite and fill in details of an upcoming assignment, while the professor was discussing it.
Cons: The StudyMinder Lite version does not pop up a reminder of an upcoming due date (unless I missed a software feature), rather you need to check the StudyMinder Lite daily.

Somebody recommended this program to me, with rave reviews. After downloading and installing, the program screens did not fully display, not to mention locking up Windows XP. After I removed the Legacy Program, Windows worked fine again.

Pros: easy updating, no hoops to jump through when installing, does not hog up CPU space, configuring very simple to understand!

Pros: I installed this software when it first came out, but then forgot I had it on the laptop - until a few days ago. A pretty slick way to remove unwanted software, especially with the additional info Revo gives for each installed software.
Cons: It can be scary to edit and/or remove a line item from the Registry, which Revo will do for you, if given permission. I choose to not let Revo change the registry and use CCleaner instead, as Revo's interface for registry changes is a bit confusing.
