Pros: A perfect defrag.
Cons: It uses services that always run in the background and use memory all the time, I don't understand why it does this because it doesn't have real-time defrag. It's use of services also means that it can't run in safe mode, and defraging in safe mode allows you defragment files that are often in use while windows is booted normally.

Pros: This only the free firewall I've tried yet that novices can navigate (and I've tried many firewalls, ZoneAlarm, Jetico, Comodo, PC Tools, Lavasoft, Outpost). If you want an easy to use firewall, you just found one.
Cons: The security this offers isn't comparable to more advanced harder to use firewall programs, but it's more effective than windows firewall. If you know how to use a more advanced firewall there are much better free one's out there.

Pros: Highly customizable. Unlike most firewalls it does exactly what you tell it. If you know what your doing this firewall is excellent. If you don't know computers & networking well don't bother with this product; it's extremely complex. It gives you complete control over your computer.
Cons: It takes a lot of work to set up, and requires advanced computer skills to work properly.
People with moderate computer skills should try Comodo*****or PC tools firewall***** (or Outpost agnitum.com/products/outpost/ if you're willing to buy one), and people with basic computer skills should try Ashampoo's*****firewall.

Pros: It does everything Perfect Disk does and some, while using less resources. It'll run in safe mode when Perfect Disk won't, and defraging in safe mode allows a more comprehensive defrag. It doesn't run any services in the background that slow system performance like Perfect Disk and Diskeeper do, making this the ideal choice for older and/or low resource computers.
Cons: It's not free, but it's worth paying for.
It doesn't defrag in the background, but that's silly anyway because the background defragmentation often slows the computer as much as disk fragmentation would. If you have a powerful computer with a large hard disk, and you aren't worried about computer resources, but running a defrag regularly is a pain, try Diskeeper or I/O Smart Defrag (free).
