Online Gaming ~ this runs with NO LAG even when updating :D

Pros: Easy install,Easy setup & Easy to use. NO LAG while GAMING ~ first antivirus (& tried many) that runs & updates smoothly without affecting MMP, RP or PVP online games on my pc. Even after 2 months the pop up that says "Avast data base has been updated" still suprises me... no in game lag or weidness to forwarn me its running & even the pop up doesn't affect game play (woot). After much prompting from other gamers I tired Avast & tested it... now my pc is protected by a comprehensive, thourough antivirus program I can run 24/7 & forget about ~ regarless of how I use my pc. Oh & the "stop online protection" option on task bar ~ is now only used for installing new programs... :D

Cons: No negatives that I can find.

CCleaner ~ Cleans what it says & Cleans it right!

Pros: Fantastic ~cleans what it says & cleans it right ~a definate keeper ~no more restores or lost files after trying a cleaner ~I've been using CCleaner for six months now without a hitch on XP ~used every option for cleaning Windows & apps; resolving registry & file integrity issues; uninstalled programs; pared down startup programs; & kept track of cookies ~all with shining success ~without the loss of one needed or wanted file ~my PC & programs have run fine ~Highly reccommended whether used to keep cookie & temp files cleaned out or for more indepth cleaning like Windows old logs & prefetch files ~for a little or a lot it's definately worth having ~my daughters PC was so bloated with junk that even after cleaning all malware it took nearly 5 mins to open a window ~installed CCleaner & ran every cleaning option ~blindly accepted & deleted all files in analysis without back-up (over 2.5 GIGABYTES) ~restarted her PC & it ran without hesitation ~2 months later she reports PC running fine & all programs intact ~CCleaner now auto cleans her PC at startup ~used it on 2 other PCs with less problems & same great results!

Cons: For Maximum benefits a basic understanding of what, where & how these files got there is helpful ~with a minimal investment of time even a novice can greatly increase both benefits & confidence using CCleaner click on Online Help ~use Quick Tour for a step-by-step how to use the program & a general overview of the problem ~FAQ & Program Information for an even better understanding ~Discussion Forum to fill any gaps or help with any problems ~my daughter was computer illiterate ~I gave up explaining why cleaning her PC was important & left her at CCleaners Online Help site with a promise she'd spend 15 mins checking it out ~a while later she called ~excited she spent quite a while telling me how it all works & how easy it is to understand & how CCleaner just rounds up & hauls off all the trash :)

The BEST & reliable too! Keeps my PC running smooth.

Pros: Keeps my XP flying. Does what it says & more. Comes thru in a pinch ~ if you're like me ~ always overloading your PC, twiddling thumbs wishing background services would quit hogging up memory ~ hoarding it to use as chips when the memory guzzling gangster 'anit-virus' wakes up for his daily poker game. Oh no, way too much lag time here, time to hire a sherriff (hehe).
