Pros: Finally a free version which does what it claims without a catch. Most claim: "free trial", which even during the 30 day free trial, either won't convert till you buy the software, or won't save till you buy it. Or if they do save it is just a 10 second clip. ect.
I am pleased with this software.
Cons: The sound quality of the output file, is not as good as the input file, But I think that is to be expected.

Pros: This is one of the easiest, and user friendliest spy-stopper programs on the market, and best of all, it is free.
What can be easier, just set it and forget it. Then once a month or so open it up to look for updates. This, Adaware, and Spybot S&D are all you need to surf the web with confidence.
Cons: Nothing derogetory about Spyware Blaster or about download-dot-com, except the download from here, did not work. Twice I tried it, it said the setup files were corrupted.
But don't despair, Just go get it from the publisher's website. You can link to it from download-dot-coms page.Just look for the link called Javacool Software.

Pros: I mainly like the browser cleaning tools to clean up cookies and temporary files. the popup blocker is useful too, although it only seems to work with Internet explorer. I don't use internet explorer much, but if I did it would be more useful. The security watchdog and privacy protection is very good to have.
Cons: Only one thing I could see would improve on the security watchdog, maybe a checkbox like spybot teatimer has to remember changes, so it doesn't have to constantly ask you the same permissions from the same programs to go to startup. Once you allow or deny a change, it would automatically do it for you, the next time.

Pros: I check out C-nets news articles once in a while. When I clicked on thier link for utilities, this one came up in the top ten picks.
It was free so I downloaded it. Thanks C-net for letting me know about this little gem. It silently cleans your useage tracks. spyware cookies, Intruders, profilers, and worms. There is even a spam-mail filter, but I havent used that feature yet. This is a really nice application.
I used to have to go clear my temporary internet and cache files the old fasioned way. This little gem handles it all without my help.
Cons: When I reboot it turns on all cleaners at once. It takes a little time to finish cleaning. But thats my fault, now isn't it, for having over 1,896 usage tracks in one day!

Pros: I have it on all 3 of my home computers, I just discovered I had it for a year cause my registration key expired, on the first computer I installed it on.
No problem though I went to avast registration and got a new key sent to my email within less than 5 min.
I really like the fact that it works on all windows operating systems. I have windows 95, 98, and ME. It is hard to buy antivirus software for windows 95 anymore. Almost impossible. Norton doesn't make it anymore for 95 and neither does McAfee. And even when they did it didn't autoupdate.
Thanks alwil for such a great product, I love it
