Cons: Heh. Isn't it rather odd that there are a whole bunch of FIVE STAR reviews, mostly all on the SAME DAY? And then no reviews for months.... something smells funny.. SURELY this prgram doesn't SUCK SO BADLY that the author had to come and write fake reviews?? *shock horror*

I have used the full version of ares for a while now, and have been happy with its performance, except with my (HUGE!!!) 64mb of RAM it slowed things down a bit. I downloaded this and it does the same as ares but a little faster, without the integrated web browser and the media player (which i hardly used anyway) and a few other small things. It WILL recognize your partial downloads from the original Ares, you just have to move them to the same folder you choose to d/l your Ares Lite files to. Recommended, especially to ppl with slow azz computers like me......!!!! (NOTE: when installing, deselect 'Nav Helper', which is spyware)

I have used Ares for a couple of months now, it has pretty much the same interface as Kazaa Lite. Doesn't find as many song matches as Kazaa, because there are usually only 150,000 - 200,000 people online at a time, compared to Kazaa's 3 million, which also means the downloads are sometimes slower. On my 56k modem the total download speed is usually around 5 - 6 kbps, whereas kazaa will give up to 10 sometimes. Quite a few of the songs I have downloaded off Kazaa have come out with glitchy bits in them, I have never had this with Ares so far. Ares has an integrated chat, which K-Lite doesn't have, where you can host your own chatrooms if you wish. Over all I think it is quite good, and I have stopped using Kazaa now unless I need to find a rarer song, video, or software.
