Miranda IM (Windows NT/2000/XP/Vista)

Version: 0.7

Nice and tweekable

Pros: It maybe do not look so nice at the first glance but you can change everything in this little application. Give it some time and put some effort going through the menus and you see how cool this program is. I even changed the name of the application to yabadabadooo instead of Miranda hehe

Cons: It could have included some nicer background image as standard so it does not scare to many people. To be honest it could look much nicer with a simple change of background.

great tool

Pros: very goog interface and functionality without adds :)

simply great. Just need to disable torrent/emule and it rocks.

Cons: mmm can not think of any really. Just reinstall dont remove the whole folder. Need to restart and delete the dll and folder manually but no biggy.

NOD32 Standard Version (Windows NT/2000/XP)

Version: 2.5

Very satisfied

Pros: I was a little skeptical about the interface ad functionality but after testing the program for about a week i really think its very easy to work with it. Actually i never need to touch the application as it updates the definitions and dont bother me with nags (try Symantec and you know what i mean).

I even tried to download some virus/trojas from some test sites and it reacted instantly. In short it is a very good application i think.

Cons: 2 things i miss but dont see as a must have are:

1) a live icon that shows when something is being scanned or when NOD is doing something. Right now its just a icon like the rest.

2) a list of virus which i can search and read about. This is something that already exist on many locations on the internet but some other AV programs have it build in. Like i said i can do without but it is a nice to have feature.

Miranda IM (Windows NT/2000/XP)

Version: 0.6.8

Does what its suppose to

Pros: Great flexibility and no extra garbage.

Its not a cute MSN clone and i take that as a PROS. I want it simple and functional without adds and junk so here you got it.

Cons: Can be a little "different" at first if you dont configure some colors/background.
