It's my permanent must-have utility.

Pros: Easy to set up, and launch at start-up. Occupies just a sliver when set to auto-hide. Toolbar becomes visible when the mouse slides over. You can use your own familiar icons. Launch websites, programs (and utilities), fave folders and files. Organize them with tabbed categories. Back up the program and your settings on a flash drive, and you can use it anywhere.

Cons: Minor: Takes up 7 MB of memory, but my toolbar is quite loaded.

Very nice but prefer Enigma Browser

I used this, but it had a few crashes (Win 98). Both Avant and Enigma have skins,tabbed browsing, multi-column faves, group launching and history cleaning. Avant has RSS feeds, but Enigma has many more search options and is more stable

License file doesn't work

Cons: They request your email and send you a license FILE (not serial number). It did not work. The above positive comments are too bland and unsubstantive. Makes me doubt their authenticity
