Pros: BC can minimize to the tray. It has very good download speeds - depending on what you're downloading. It has some really useful tools and options for managing your downloads. It can also download from FTP and HTTP.

If there is a new version, you can instantly write the new one over the old one without losing your downloads.

Cons: Sometimes the program will crash. You are also forced to have a minimum of 3kb/s upload rate (although with the new version, you might be able to get around that). Something I don't like is the "Recommended Window" that appears by default on first run. The other pages and links that appear as "Summary" and "Snapshot" can get very annoying and cannot be disabled. There is a new Comment feature, which is useful, but I think they are better on the torrent sites themselves.

Let's slow everything down...

Pros: Spyware Doctor looks cool. It has the usual amount of features you would expect in any antispyware product. The thing that really made me download it was that if you download it from Google Pack, you can wave the payment subscription goodbye and start removing (traces of) spyware. For free.

Cons: Where do I start? Spyware Doctor takes ages to load. It took me an extra 10 minutes for my computer to load before I could even launch any other application - because SD was sucking up processing power - just so it can activate. I also got some error messages when I was shutting down my computer which were caused by SD. SD is also a bit ambiguous when it shows you the scan results - it doesn't clearly say 'Remove' or 'Ignore'. So getting used to it was a just a little bit annoying. Overall, although it has some unique settings and things, it wasn't easy enough to use.
