Pros: this is best program to make voice calls.
pc to pc is free. but what is best is
pc to phone or phone to pc. cheapest
rates for that. the best audio quality.
connection is encrypted.
Cons: there is none...

Pros: It works as promised though interface
seems made by novices. Anyway no problem
with that.
Cons: Concerned webpage at download. com from
where it was downloaded mentions its
limitation as a 'nag screen'. Where as
in actual it won't work after few days
unless you make a donation. So the company
is providing misleading information which
is unethical. Thumbs down to cnet.

Pros: 1. Pc to Pc voice talking is crystal clear and this quality is not available in any other software. And its free in skype. I write this review as gesture of
thanks to skype as it is extremely helpful for pc to pc voice talk. If your need is pc to pc talking than skype is
best and the only one without any doubt.
Cons: 1. chat (by typing) is slow but for that
lot many other softwares are there.
2. there must be some way for users to
pay for skypeout (skype to phone calls)
in cash anywhere in the world.
3. search option usually get very few
returns of people in skype me mode.

Pros: Chat through yahoo is fast. Other kid stuff is good.Using yahoo since 4 years. Can't think my life without yahoo. Can't say thanks enough to yahoo for this wonderful piece of software. In love with yahoo actually. :-)Only thing which is
required must in yahoo is this that it
should provide ability to record cam session too like one can archive the
chat sessions.
Cons: 1. Only real con. Voice chat quality is
poor. But I have skype for that now.

Pros: Its a very good IM client.
Using it for 5 years now.
Text chat is almost instant.
I thank yahoo for giving web
community such a wonderful
IM client. Its my personal
fav.
Cons: This is for yahoo developers. Hope they
read it and do something about it in
next version of yahoo.
1. Yahoo Messenger doesn't allow to read IM history offline without being logged
into yahoo.You can never read the dat files
and if you loose the yahoo id they are gone
for ever. There must be some way to read IM history without being logged into yahoo. MUST.
2. There is no provision of recording web
cam sessions along with IM history. One
should be able to record web cam sessions
[both sides] and saved as IM history is saved. And if one is reading IM history
[without being logged please] than the
cam session should play alongwith. MUST.
3. Earlier the voice chat quality was not
good pc to pc. Skype was much better. Hope
this version is better. I haven't tried
this one yet.
