Not worth evaluating

Pros: No idea

Cons: Installed the software, but 60-minutes later, a pop-up came up demanding I register, and letting me know that it would pop-up every 60 minutes until I registered. A 60-minute trial period? You can't evaluate this type of software in 60 minutes, that's ridiculous.

I should have never uninstalled RAMbooster to try this software that claims to do what I know RAMbooster does. Go with RAMbooster, you can download it here, and I know it works.

Nonfunctional, perhaps even a scam

Pros: None

Cons: Upon installation and use, program gives message that the client is no longer supported, and directs you to TorrentSpy. This program should be removed.

Used to be Tops

Pros: It used to search all of the major and many minor sites, even in the free version. And these searches were of many different types: internet, shopping, email, etc.

Cons: If you like this version, then you have never used the older versions. This used to be everything you say. Indispensable, cream of the crop, etc. Now the searches have been altered to leave out some of the top engines or make them a seperate search.

Also, now it is adware. You probably don't see it, but every time you click on a result, you are sent to Doubleclick (the most notorious ad purveyor on the net) and then (I am assuming) to your site. The reason I say assuming, is that I have all Doubleclick page calls blocked via my hosts file, and so I get nothing from clicking on the results, I have to copy and paste the URL of the result into a new window to see.

It is sad to see something that was once a 'best-of-show' product compromise itself like this.

Can't recommend. Get a copy of an old version if you can find one. Then you'll have the best product you can.
