Pros: Irfanview remains the unchallenged leader of free graphics viewers. A reviewer who complained about having to resize the picture each time was wrong. All you need it press View, Full Screen, and then press right or left mouse button to view all pictures in that folder on full screen, without having to resize anything.

And regarding resizing, this program offers the fastest, easiest possible way to resize any picture in a couple of seconds. Picture editing and other capabilities are also great. Don't forget to also download a free set of plugins for more features.

Great personal productivity tool

Pros: This software has a wonderful visual monitoring and motivational feature - a percentage progress bar. I wonder why other developers of similar programs don't do it. Also, I like the fact that entry of data is very simple - you just click on a field and type, or choose a drop-down option. Others instead make you fill out a form for each and every task, which is time consuming if you have many tasks to enter. It's quite customizable. Say, tags and fields can be added or deleted.

Cons: I would enjoy an ability to choose a font and its size not only while writing notes, but also while entering data, such as task name.

My favorite player for many years

Pros: I really love this player. It's very lightweight on resources, never stumbles while playing, has wide selection of codecs for different formats, requires no installation - just unzip and play. Not many, but very nice, functional skins are available. Can be used from flash drive. Different sound tweaking settings available. Works flawlessly in Vista.

Cons: No negatives.
