Great Update, but...

Pros: The new interface is slick, the extra toolbar elements are a great edition.

The price is great for a quite full featured consumer photo editor. I use Photoshop CS2 at work and Elements 6 is for home... it's a lot easier to use and simplifies a number of tasks. I'm starting to wonder why I need CS2... OK, I just may not upgrade to CS3 for a while now.

Purchase onOne Essentials for Elements to have a complete digital photo editing studio.

Cons: Slow to load. Organizer is extremely slow for photo browing and importing photos. Organizer not integrated very well with Elements.

Layers: why isn't there a Folder option?? You can't use other Photoshop files (CSx) that have layers... OK, you can, but you can't expand the folders to edit layers. Why is such an important organizational tool left out of Elements?

Does what is says on the can

Pros: Securely hides a folder anywhere on your hard drive. Logging in makes the directory appear, usable like any other folder. The software itself is unobtrusive, although for a "stealthy" product, they install one too many icons. If you're worried about somone getting into your files, this could entice a hack

Cons: The lock icon in the system toolbar is a bit over the top and flashy for a security product. But really, these are minor gripes. My Lockbox works and works well.

Finally, run your email campaing in Oulook!

Pros: Integrated into Outlook, sidepane shows immediate opens and clicks, manage multiple lists and campaings easily.

Cons: It does require an internet connection as all contact info is stored on a remote server. There are a number of features missing in the v1 version; cannot edit links, images, templates in the content library.
