Good, but not "set and forget".

Pros: Very effective and easy to use IF you explore it.

Cons: Needs customization. I couldn't reach one website where I had a membership until I found that Spyware Blaster had blocked the cookie by default. This program also has a "flash kill" set by default (under tools). If you send (or receive) greeting cards, they will not show! Explore the program & choose you settings and you will find this program most worthwhile. P.S. - If you upgrade, check it again; it will return to default settings.

Personalization? In Spades!

Pros: Great browser. Doesn't have all the "bells and whistles" of popular favorite Firefox, but is fast and accurate. Not for beginners, yes, but if you know a liitle about configuration files, along with built in customization features, you'll have a sleek speed machine.

Cons: There is a bit of a learning curve, and updating could be smoother.

Balky, freezes

Pros: Seems to have potential. Maybe I've had software conflicts if others have had good results. Free 30-day trial. Can't hurt to check it out.

Cons: Only got it to run a complete scan twice out of about 10 tries. Would freeze up. In the first successful trial, it found MANY more keys than other programs, with little or no explanation. I was leery of deleting something necessary.

Interfered with my Firewall

Pros: Can't say - never sucessfully installed.

Cons: After installation I got error messages from my Comodo Firewall - Comodo would not initialize. Don't know the connection between the two programs.

If you like Firefox....

Pros: ...you'll love Miranda. Lightweight, versatile. Lots of plugins and skins.

Cons: VERY sharp learning curve. Not at all intuitive. Lots of info available, but you have to hunt it down thru their website.
