Pros: A majority of the site files were dl'd successfully.
Cons: A number of pages were missed entirely or corrupted. Some files were unreadable after dl'ing. This is my own site I was backing up, so I know for a fact that the links are intact and the pages display correctly in all standard browsers. If the program functioned properly, I cannot think of any reason it should not have been able to find all linked pages.

Pros: Straightforward design.
Cons: It did not create a complete sitemap. My site has a number of major sections, all accessible via the main page and most heavily interlinked. SMB.NET found fewer than half of the pages, requiring the remainder to be added to the map manually. If it's not going to produce a complete map, there's not much point to using it.

Cons: There may have been a time when this routine was functional. However, currently it cannot even find an URL presented to it. I note that on the website there is a web-based version. It is also apparently no longer operating. Note that this program requires an early versin of the .NET ramework to be installed on the host computer.

Pros: Ten years ago I recognized the need to catalog my files scattered among the hard drive, floppies and CD's. Immediately after dl'ing the trial version of WhereIsIt I paid the registration fee, finding it easy to use, powerful and comprehensive. Robert Galle, the author, has remained devoted to upgrading and improving his product, keeping it compatible with every new iteration of Windows. Unlike any other package I know of, he has never sought to gouge users with additional charges for upgrades. Incredibly useful and invaluable, you will not find a more powerful package or better value in a utility.

Pros: Simple and straightforward, with just enough features to make it truly useful. Especially good for online auctions.
Cons: No defects in the program, itself. Like all such clock routines, the accuracy is totally dependent upon the system clock. Balancing that is DS Clock's speed and ease of updating via atomic time servers.
