Pros: Nice, easy to understand interface, don't know if it works, tho, because I wanted to copy a CD, which it would not do.
Cons: The program could not identify the disk I inserted into my DVD reader as a CD. Kept indicating that there was no disk inserted. It appears that if you want to copy a CD, you need two CD readers. Also installs AdWare.

Pros: I replaced Outlook Express with Thunderbird and my email problems disappeared! OE was hanging up, slow loading mail with all the graphics (even when set to txt only mode) and some junk mail was triping Debug in the middle of a mail download. Thunderbird took care of ALL my OE problems, and has a much smaller footprint. Eliminated some hangup problems with Internet Explorer, too. I highly recommend Thunderbird if you are having problems with OE.
Cons: Can't find anything I don't like about Thunderbird yet.

Pros: It opens and displays .pdf files really well, altho the interface is much simpler than Adobe Reader, and lacks some of the bells and whistles.
Cons: During installation, the program modifies or replaces the MS Office Data1.msi file with a defective one, which then prevents you from loading, reading, or creating any sort of file save .pdf. It also prevents you from uninstalling the Nitro PDF toolbar it inserts into MS Word. I had to re-install Word after uninstalling Nitro, to get rid of it. This might be a fine program were I able to get it to do anything constructive. Tech Support is nada unless you pay for it... and who wants to pay for tech support on a program which is buggy and defective? Not I! Suggest you stay away from this one until they debug it.

Pros: Instructions in a simple format that get right to the point, tells you what you need to know, and where to get the software, with recommendations as to what works best. What more could you want?
Cons: Some of the software links are dated, and some older software is no longer available
