Hmmm....

Pros: I like the addition of tabs to the browser. Many of the features seem to use concepts drawn from Firefox 2 and Opera. It seems faster than it did before. The built in RSS feed is a nice addition along with the multiple tab viewer. I like how you can easily create new tabs but hitting the little button on the far right tab.

Cons: I suppose the most annoying thing for me, is the fact that there is no refresh button. You manually have to right click on the tab of the page and do a refresh.

Why are the back and forward buttons on the opposite side of the screen from the home button. And you can't really move anything around. It all just adds to awkwardness of the interface. It always creates new windows, which is odd because the default setting is to open it in new tabs. It doesn't seem to work really well.

Thumbs up...

Pros: Imagine FF 1.5 on Steroids. The interface is really nice. Nice, clean and simple, it allows everyone to be happy.

Another nice feature is the session manager. When you shut down FF, and open it again, it keeps a record of the last session and allows you to bring back all those tabs.

The program comes with a built-in spell checker, and an anti-phishing tool. (Obviously to complete with IE7) The Google search feature has been improved, with search suggestions. By default, the program opens new windows in a new tab. The ad-ons manager includes both themes and extension all in one manager. And the coolest feature is the ability to reopen closed tabs.

If any one could tell me the difference between RC 1 and RC 2 please do.

Cons: The program is still in beta, so many of the extensions don't work yet.

Nice, but just not me

Pros: I like Opera for many reasons. It has a nice interface, clean and simple. It is really easy to use. I really like the thumbnail preview of tabs, but by the time the thumbnail comes up, you've wasted more time than actually going to tab. It seems to be really fast. Just as fast as Firefox.

I like the built in POP3 client. The ability to make my tool bars completely customizable. You basically can click and drop a button anywhere.

Cons: I would have to agree with the editor of CNET, and say the RSS feed manager is a little clunky.

I also think that the widget feature should be a different modular than the browser itself. When I shut down the browser, all my extensions also shutdown. This feature is kind of annoying. Perhaps they should add in future versions the ability to have widgets as a separate program.

I also agree with cynical825, and say that you should keep a updated copy of IE for sites that are being a pain and block Opera.

Minor problems running some Java Script. And finally the download manager is slow. FF does it much faster.
