Pros: Don't know, never go it installed.
Cons: When I tried to install this it said I need PDF995 first. When I tired to install that it said I need to install some converter first. At that point I gave up. Free or not if they are not up front with all the requirements you have to wonder what else they are not up front about.

Pros: I do a lot of MySQL programming and sometimes you need to check the query log. It is always open unless you stop the server. Notepad++ opened it without a problem and if I ran more queries it would suggest reloading. The time it saves me is immeasurable.
Cons: Tried to spell check. Downloaded and installed Aspell and an English dictionary but I couldn't get Notepad++ to see it.

Pros: It WILL backup Mozilla, Firefox, and Thunderbird profiles.
Cons: It would have been nice to be able to backup my Firefox and Thunderbird profiles as one file.
Since you have to choose what type profile of profile you are backing up, the options screen could be a little more friendly by not listing unavailable options instead of just graying them out.

Pros: The software seems to do a thorough review of your system and lists the kinds of things you need to look over.
Cons: I'm not an MCSE. When a program offers to change a setting it should give some idea of what the setting controls and, if possible, what will change if you accept it.
I installed this on a Saturday and everything was fine Saturday and Sunday but on Monday the system hung up trying to login. Since I hadn't made any changes other install and run this program I restored to the point saved the first time I ran it. Since I have no idea which of the changes it recommended and I either blindly accepted or just as blindly refused I have no where to start finding the problem. It is safer just to uninstall it.

Pros: This program looks like a group of explorer widows with the ability to drag-and-drop files or select the few files you need or to upload (or download) an entire site keeping the folder structure intact. If you don't want to wait for a massive transfer you can schedule it for later and tweak the list of files to be transferred as needed.
Cons: Lately they have been releasing version edits on almost a daily basis and the web site doesn't make it easy to find out what changed. Since they are now well into version 2 I would expect the online help to be a little more professional. It is little more than comments out of the source code.
