Xingtone Ringtone Maker

Version: 4.2.19

No frills

Pros: It does everything advertised

Cons: It's limited, and only allows you to download ONE ringtone to your phone. You are better off using WAVEPAD EDITOR 1.2, as you can do the same thing, and increase the volume then ship the ringtone mp3 to your phone via Bluetooth.

Mobile Ringtone Converter

Version: 2.3.20

No need when phone mp3 compatible

Pros: You can convert from most formats to one of your choice

Cons: Read description, you can only convert 4 seconds of any given file. Also, with modern mobile phones being mp3 compatible, WHY BOTHER with redundant programs like this?

If you want to shorten mp3's to use as ring tones, download from here "wavepad 1.2", it allows you free use of all features for a short time, then basic features after time expires. I've used it for several months to record and edit mp3 files without worry.

Don't waste your time with this *****.

Plasma Pong

Version: 1.2

Pong on Steroids!!!!

Pros: Love the graphics and the ball/paddle action, gives a uniquely new perspective on the old Pong game. With the plasma-filled court, you can choose to just paddle the ball, or you can "suck" in plasma (right mouse) and blast it away. You have to be careful and be aware of which direction the ball is going or it just might surprise you!

LOADS of fun

Cons: Doesn't run very well on a Celeron PC. Pentium IV and above is recommended

The music gets boring after a while, though it is ingenius how the tempo/octive is increased with each level of play.

Chronograph

Version: 5.1

Why pay when you have FREE time?

Pros: This works very well, and as advertised.

Cons: Why pay for something you already have within Windows XP? In Clock Settings within WinXP, the program allows you to syncronize with the atomic clock directly by nist "dot" gov. As for the calendar, all versions of Microsoft OFFICE has a full functioning calendar within OUTLOOK. So there's no need to pay for the correct TIME.

Repaired and working

Pros: For about 2 weeks, the original Def file corrupted, and I couldn't update it. Now along comes Definition File SE1R106 by way of Sim-Alert!

I downloaded, and installed per instructions and it now works flawlessly!
