Pros: something was unstable w/ my pc but ad-aware 2007 didnt find anything & my trend security suite 2007 sent a trojan warning but said it couldn't quarintine it, etc. i came here & after researching i tried ashampoo. it found "2 trojans" & quickly removed it! about 3 days later it happened again, from downloading torrents. i followed the path to make sure none of the spyware or trojans were false positives & sure enough there they were in my files & apps. im very disappointed in ad-aware 2007 b/c the old one was so good but im glad i found ashampoo!! very easy set up too!!
Cons: if my pc likes it, i love it! ashampoo antispyware keeps my baby running!

Pros: ....i never use to like those bulky books it leaves on other ppls puters but recently winzip wouldnt open a file I recieved. Thats when I realized if its zipped w/ winrar, winzip can't opened it. I then ralized WinRAR was waaaay easier to manage then winzip...but now i jus read other ppls reviews here & they say there's freebies. Imma check them out.
Cons: I have alot of zip files, so I don't like the bright bulky books WinRAR leaves all over. It's pretty when it's one or 2 but thats it. Also WinRAR should make it's own window like winzip does. Even when were not using it, it makes our right click window way to long

Pros: I was hit w/ 8 trojans & the upteen malware, etc from couple of bad torrent downloads. After finally cleaning out my pc w/ the help of a good tech from Trend Micro, I installed & tried CCleaner to clean out my cache & registry which doesn't provide info on whats it's cleaning. Next thing I knew I couldn't open my fav softwares w/ out a bunch of missing files & error windows popping up. CCleaner's backup didn't help, then I remembered reading somewhere on cNET where Advance WindowsCare's restore feature saved someone w/ a similiar problem from an over-aggressive registry cleaner. Sure enough, AWP saved the day! That was the second time their restore feature came thru for me & I've never, EVER had problems after using AWP. I'm not experimenting anymore & just sticking w/ TuneUp Utility & AWP.
Cons: ...the only thing that disturbed me about AWP is that it only had one update in the 6, 7 months I've had it, so how does it keep up on the latest spyware attacks for it's security features? With Trend Micro's new super upgraded 2008 suite I really don't need the security features anymore & definetly don't need Lavasoft's AdAware anymore so I guess I should no longer be disturbed *sigh*

Pros: It's different thats for sure & the hard work that went into it is much appreciated!. It covers e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g & details the purpose of e-v-e-r-y feature. In IE 7 irratating ad blocking security windows kept popping up everywhere I browsed. I un installed IE 7 & these security ad blockers still kept popping up. I couldn't figure out for the life of me how to turn the dahm thing off then I remembered SM had 5 various ad blockers & it worked! Also, it leaves pretty soft colored boxes in place of ads which blends right in so we dont notice it! Can't even tell SM is there & when it does something, it makes a soft swishing sound in the bkground, cute!
Cons: After seeing almost every 5 star review were by members who only joined to comment on SecureMaker, I got suspicious and almost changed my mind. I'm glad I went ahead w/ the install tho!
