Pros: It is easy to use. I can edit many movie and create a new movie. I can get music file from movie files.
Cons: Well, Microsoft may not design it for editing movie. It is only designed to create a home video. However, I used it to edit movie. My computer run comparatively slow when editing a movie. You better have a converter with you. Windows Movie Maker only allow you create a movie of WMV or music of WMA.

Pros: New improved user interface make me more easy to handle various media files. Simple User Interface increases efficiency. I use it to play music and video files most of the time. Search feauture which can be found everywhere in Windows Vista makes end user easily find desired media files. I can't find any difference between Windows Media Player 11 in Windows XP and Windows Media Player 11 in Windows Vista. With Windows Media Player, I can play, rip and burn music files. I can play Video Files and Pictures as well. With this version, organization is easier.
Cons: I still have to use third party softwares in order to play the media files which is not supported by Windows Media Player. I would like to have a all-in-one media player. Real player supports more media files but it is less efficient than Windows Media Player.

Pros: Player a lot of types of files. let me download flash video online.
Cons: crash very often. consumes a lot of memory. suddenly went out of control.

Pros: It supports variety types of compressed files. It is lightweight and efficient. User interface is simple enough for a novice to understand.
Cons: It is not free. You have to pay for it.

Pros: Scan quickly than Norton Anti-virus. It runs very fast too. It updates frequently quickly in the background.
Cons: Cannot Scan a specific file. It need you to scan a folder or a directory.
