One of the best, if not THE BEST, audio production software available

Pros: Free with no limitations and no malware, perfect for recording analog to digital (audio cassettes to audio CDs or .mp3 format), good for audio editing before finalizing projects, a lot of built-in effects, low memory usage, mini pop-ups when hovering over a button is a great help, HELP file is excellent, one of the best written

Cons: Graphic user interface (GUI) is very basic, could be more user-friendly (more of an audio novice problem?)

Great free product, VERY BASIC

Pros: Perfect for quick reminders on computer desktop so you never miss a meeting, event, or thought. Create notes with pictures and hyperlinks, stick notes on computer desktop, or add alarms to notes as reminders. Great way to clear up Post-It notes all over your real desktop and easier to manage them. *DOES NOT CONTAIN MALWARE ACCORDING TO AD-AWARE 1.06r1*

Cons: Cannot create templates for dispensing notes. Cannot have own note style be the one dispensed from the Notepad. Cannot change the color of notes. Cannot cascade desktop in additional ways (by the first number on the note, by a date on the note, or by the note creation date, etc.). Cannot get a second chance with Trashed notes. Cannot pull notes out of the Trash back onto the desktop. Cannot automatically backup notes to a different disk or server. Cannot customize Post-It Software Notes by setting up own display options, Trash features, default note style, backup file, or many other features. *ALL ABOVE FEATURES CAN BE FOUND IN THE STANDARD OR PROFESSIONAL EDITION OF POST-IT SOFTWARE NOTES*

Burn4Free CD and DVD

Useless, COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME

Pros: Toolbar removal is easy, but installation is forced during program-install

Cons: Does not perform as intended, does not burn an audio CD from .mp3 files, poor graphic user interface (GUI), difficult adding/removing files from to-be-burned file list, forces user to install its toolbar during program-install, lags computer and program during change of settings/preferences

Not the most user-friendly, not recommended for novice users

Pros: Normal & Export Modes available, free, quick, clean installation & uninstallation

Cons: Memory intensive, buggy features (i.e. output file size estimate is incorrect), help file is not very informative, options are not very intuitive

RIA-Media Viewer

Very simple program, does not read .BTR files

Pros: Very simple installation, clean graphic user interface (GUI), uses very little memory and processor power

Cons: Requires MS .NET Framework (not standard on most home PCs), does not read .BTR files even though many DBF viewers do
