Too many messages

Pros: It's free and seems to work well enough.

Cons: I used this program for a few days, and then I remembered why I had stopped using it once before and went to another program. For everything you do, it puts up tons of messages on the screen, some filling the entire width of the screen. I couldn't figure out how to turn them off or set to only appear when something bad happens, instead of for every little thing. Had to uninstall and go back to AVG Free.

Spend hours setting this up

Pros: It seems to be a convenient way to keep all your emulators into one bundled program. I say "seems to" for the reasons listen in the Cons.

Cons: Once this is installed and after restarting the computer, the setup wizard pops up for this program. Ok, that's fine. A lot of programs have a setup wizard. No problem.

The problem is that it has a LOT of options to go through in the setup wizard, and I mean a LOT of them. I spent literally HOURS going through everything, at least 3 hours, and I finally got tired of it and just exited the setup wizard and uninstalled the program.

I understand there are a lot of individual emulators and everything, but when you have to go through each one's settings right away through this program, and it takes that long to do so, it can easily put off anyone who doesn't have that much patience.

I think it would be better to just set up the options for this program itself, then each emulator as you use them the first time. That would make more sense to me.

If you are the type of person who likes video games, you might give this a try, but if you have no patience to sit and go through ten million options, you probably will want to steer clear of this program. Maybe they will make it better in a future version.

Expires after 7 days if not registered

Pros: The interface looks nice and it works good. You can even customize which keys play which key.

Cons: The registration sucks. The program is free, but if you don't register within 7 days, it stops working. To register, you have to go to the publisher's site and give your info so they can email your registration code to you.

I did that, but when I got it, I couldn't find where to enter the code in the player. I emailed them, but I haven't gotten a reply back as of this moment. It just seems like a lot of hassle for a free program. I mean, if it's free, why must it require a registration code anyway. Usually free programs don't require anything from users and they don't have a time limit to use unregistered.

I'm wondering if the whole registration thing is just to get people's email addresses and names in order to send them spam and whatever else.

Worked fine for me , but...

Pros: I used this for a couple weeks and it seemed to work ok for me. None of the problems as the others had.

Cons: What I didn't like about this program is every time I tried to run anything, a stupid popup would appear asking me if I wanted to allow it. Not just the regular exe part, but even different parts within the program. Even my firewall doesn't do that.

If I didn't want a program and all parts of it to run, I wouldn't have clicked it. I realize it's a good thing to notify me when there's a potential risk, but that's too much. If it's one thing I cannt stand, it's popup alerts you have to verify.

Watch out for this publisher

Pros: Not sure I want to risk downloading this program. Read my Cons to see why.

Cons: I went to the publisher's site and on his download page just above the description for this program, there's a program called REA2. In his own words, he states:

"The REA2 (Remote Execution Agent) is my own trojan horse specifically designed for silent, full proof, reliable and powerfull intrusion and control."

So if this guy is some kind of hacker, he may have put something into all of his programs that allows him to take control of other people's computers."

Just be forewarned before downloading.
