Pros: Gives seperate readings for each core on my Core 2 Due T7200 with temperatures on the taskbar. In the details, one of the very few to give CPU load percentages for each core. This give you the opportunity to balance your load using Process Lasso (also free).
Cons: This does everything it's supposed to do very well

Pros: Who knows?
Cons: When Adobe wants to make things very complicated, they do - and there is no explanation of why things don't work. This is the 2nd time (out of 2) that I've tried one of their "updates" and they didn't apply to my fully registered and working Photoshop Elements 5. Their customer service department must have worked for Didital Research before (they went bye-bye in the 1980's). Their original software is fine out of the box.
