Good software for most users

Pros: 1)Free software; 2)Small setup file (perfect for dialup users); 3) Plays almost any media file; 4)Video can be manipulated to be bigger (go to "Options" and in General tab "Play video in External window" OR you can left click on video screen and make it Full Screen; 5)Streams can be saved as mp3 (go to Options then go to settings, then go to Streaming and click on "save streams as mp3 file"; 6) Faster upload and uses less memory than Windows Media Player and Real Player; 7) Can automatically save playlist or save an mp3 as a wave file (if you are on the interface look for the "Save" button, then you can save your playlist OR save the mp3 songs as wave file)

It will work with Windows XP

Cons: 1) Software may not play avi/real media or stream files (I have had trouble with those sometimes and yes I have Real Media and Windows Media Player installed on my computer); 2) Interface is small in size (about 5" by 4" and cannot be made bigger); 3) It has not been updated since 2001.

I would say that this is a great player to use. I have it installed on three of my computers. It is not bloat ware, it doesn't take forever to download (if you're on dialup or with a slow connection), and you can almost play any file.
