The only application I've ever found myself addicted to.

Pros: Game Maker us straightforward, and easy to use. It gives you all the power and flexibility you need to make any type of game you want. I am a huge download junkie. Throughout the years I have installed well over a thousand applications on my computers, tried them, and used them. Game Maker continues to be one of my favorite finds of all time! If I had to list ten applications I thought were just brilliant, Game Maker would make that list for sure. If you'd like to make your own games without learning how to program, look no further. For the price, not bad!

Pros: It's simple. But it does its job. There are some simple settings available.

The tabs in the settings window are as follows: General Settings, Recording Source, Output Format Settings, Automatic Gain Control, Voice Active System. Each tab has some basic settings under it.

It seems to be stable and fast.

It comes with a help file that is complete useful.

Cons: It is VERY basic. But that might not be a con for everyone.
