Will not install

When I try to install this service pack on my computer it will freeze during the updating process, I have tried numerous times in numerous ways! I thought it might be slow so I left it sit for over a day, but it was still frozen during the upgrade. I couldn't shut down the computer after the failed SP3 installation, so I hadd to hardware reboot. It looks like I will have to wait for the fix for SP3 before I can install it.
