Perfect Replacement For "add/remove programs"

Pros: Free & Easy. It loads your program list INSTANTLY. It even uninstalls much faster! Excellent program. Much more informative than add/remove, and also has a few analyzing options to delete files incurred during an installation. I plan to use this from now on.

Cons: The REASON I downloaded this was to get rid of ONE program that add/remove couldn't. I even tried other uninstaller programs (failed again). Zsoft uninstaller DID succeed, but the nasty program is still stuck in the add/remove list (with no options at all). Since I only use Zsoft uninstaller now, this is OK (since the program is gone from the Zsoft list and gone from my hard drive).

Small problem aside, Zsoft Uninstaller is the only program I found that essentially removed my unwanted program without any errors.

Very Limited

Pros: Nice interface, nice functionality. Will work well for limited purposes cutting ends off of small mp3s.

I like the fade functions at song beginning/end.

Cons: Totally useless for ME.

The free version can't trim songs that are any longer than approximately 7:30 (7 minutes, 30 seconds). Well, this may be OK for most users, but unfortunately I like techno, so this utility can only trim about 2/3 of my songs.

I have found and use MPEG Audio Scissors (it's also free). Google it. It handles songs that are MUCH longer. I have opened a mp3 that is 2hours & 30minutes long, and split it into 3 mp3s (will fit on CDs easily). It takes me about 1 minute with this program to trim a mp3 PERFECTLY.

Free, Easy, It Works

Pros: Works very well for deleting files / folders that are locked (in use by another program).

You have the option to leave this program running. If something can't be deleted, a windows will come up explaining WHY. All you have to do is "unlock" any programs connected to the file to be deleted, then you can delete it.

Integrates very well into windows.

Cons: Doesn't work very well if something is really messed up on your system. If it can't delete something, it will try to do it next time you log on. It still doesn't work on all files/folders (even ones that should be OK to delete).
