Pros: I didn't complete the installation after reading the ULEA. It claims that it has third-party cookies that track your movements online and "report home." It's free with "strings attached."
Cons: See above. : (

Pros: I tried Comodo - another popular free firewall - and it never properly learned my computer or programs. It was constantly making me approve everything 4 or 5 times each and it was driving me crazy. I couldn't take it anymore.
I just removed it today and replaced it with ZA and so far it's behaving and not annoying. It seems to remember my programs and "good stuff" and work behind the scenes. So far, so good!
Cons: When I installed it, it crashed Norton AntiVirus and forced me to uninstall that program and reinstall it. I didn't want to do that because it's a long and tedious process but couldn't be avoided. Now both programs are working in harmony but it's unfortunate that I had to go through that step.
I blame that on the way that Norton is set up and doesn't allow for the user to temporarily disable it while installing a program.

Pros: I use Dreamweaver and nothing compares to that.
But I am thinking about switching to a Linux environment and wanted to see what - if anything - comes close to DW.
This program is missing some of the powerful features of DW. But it has a lot of features for a free program and seems decent. I just installed it so it's a little early to tell.
Cons: - Can't view pages in different browsers? (Maybe you can and I didn't see how yet.)
- Can't save in formats like PHP.

Pros: Wow! I was thrilled to discover this today! I tried other freebies that were supposed to do what this does and they didn't work. So, I was a bit skeptical about this one.
But this is great! I played around with it to adjust it the way I wanted. I'm a happy camper!!!!

Pros: What's not to love about this magic genie?
It quickly opens any file, program, folder or website. You can set it up to open multiple things at once. And you can set it up to search any of your favorite sites (like download.com or snopes.com) from your desktop. Assign an magic word that you will remember and the auto-fill feature types in the rest after you enter the first few letters.
You can leave it as a floating command line utility on your desktop or have it hidden in the tray until you need it.
It should be automatically bundled with all Windows computers. It's addictive.
Cons: It would be nice to be able to right-click on it when hidden in the tray to access the the functional menu. Other than that, it's perfect.
