Pros: free, produces good PDF
Cons: getting bigger and slower with every release. Version 3 was actually faster. Version 4 has crashed a couple of times on VISTA, ends with out of memory warning. Happanes when you try to convert big OFFICE files with lots of photos.

Pros: easy to use, can create backups of drivers before reinstalling VISTA/ XP
Cons: Often reports later versions of drivers but often they are not available for OS in use (ie higher number assigned to VISTA driver which cant be used on XP..)

Cons: Very slow, kills boot, v.7.5 was much better. Cannot be used on P4 machines, barely works on Centrino laptops. Best avoided. Even slows down return from hibernation, always updates itself which is a problem on a laptop you need to boot several times a day on the road. Had to uninstall..

Cons: could improve rendering of DivX video- often blocked whereas same file in DivX player appears fine.
