"More than adequate for non-professional use & it's free"
Pros: Quick to set up and use. Reasonably intuitive for a graphic-minded user.
Cons: Base set of furniture objects is limited.
Summary: My 3 star rating was inspired more from what's missing from Sweet Home 3D rather than its performance. To expect more performance, I would expect to pay a premium. SH3D is a good, usable app sufficient for simple illustrative needs. I can't imagin... read more

"Good enough to be not bad! Mediocre plus1 !"
Pros: Easily workable. Easy to fit everything together. Great dimensioning module! Works great on XP. @ 2 Ghz. Great for teen-agers!
Cons: No floors! Program closes when trying to use textures. Low grade graphics. No ceilings. No landscaping, Lights don't work. Limited furniture and other parts. Limited magnification. Few instructions or menus. A lot of stuff just didn't get done. .
Summary: The product is pretty mediocre. What they have works o.k. But nothing to write home about. Trying to use textures closes the program. They have floor textures, but you can't make a floor, or a ceiling. or counters, shelves, steps, or any flat spa... read more
